The holiday home also features a superb modern kitchen, a large spacious bathroom and two large reception rooms - each with open fireplaces. Scenic Location: Roshine Fishing Lodge is situated between the foot of Roshine Mountain and the shores of Purt Lough, 3 miles outside the village of Dunfanaghy. Purt is a brown trout lake, some 75 acres in size. The lake has a big stock of free rising, wild brown trout averaging half pound with fish up to 2 pound. Two fishing boats are available for hire. North Donegal: All around Roshine Fishing Lodge you will find rugged peninsulas, clean beaches and towering mountains. This part of Donegal is famous for its natural beauty - from the majesty of Glenveagh National Park to the wild Atlantic views along the spectacular Horn Head coastal drive. For hill walking enthusiasts Muckish Mountain is nearby and Mount Errigal and the Derryveagh Mountains are only 15 minutes drive away. There are also a number of beautiful forest walks in the region - including numerous walking trails in the wonderful Ards Forest Park.
